Meet Kate

Being mistakenly enrolled in chorus led me to a flourishing career in marketing and design. Singing melodies and carrying a tune wasn’t in the cards for me, but my high-school guidance counselor still insisted on enrolling me in chorus. Desperate to switch electives, enter the only remaining option by the time I received my class schedule: Introduction to Adobe Photoshop, otherwise known as the course that unlocked my future.

More than a decade of artistic creation, thoughtful communication, and market-driven problem-solving was sparked by a juvenile decision to avoid singing. Throughout the years, I’ve been fortunate to explore several industries, including literary publishing, banking, healthcare, media relations, and more, all of which have afforded me immeasurable inspiration, education, and growth. This journey has allowed me to help establish brand identities, improve the online presence of multiple businesses, develop a number of connections, and discover areas of interest, like digital marketing and design.

Having gotten my start in print-design and marketing, making the switch to a digital-focus wasn’t how I anticipated my career evolving; however, the more I educated myself and experimented over the years on platforms ranging from Tumblr to TikTok, the more my path carved itself. Flash-forward to today, and I’ve earned a Master of Science in Digital Marketing, improved the social media strategies and performance of multiple companies by an average of more than 350%, and created visual identities for several businesses from the Canadian to Mexican borders.
